i hereby officially announce that I have finished scanning and editing WIRA GOLOK.

yay, all 180 episodes. lots of slicing and slashing in them!

i only have 2 original single issues, i.e. 1 and 21.

the rest are scanned from jilid version.

the final volume (jilid) is 36.

as i finally enter this blog again after almost a year, i just realized that i've completely forgotten to make an official announcement that WIRA GOLOK project is a go. i did start scanning it in March 2013. then i went all the way to finish it last week. silly me.

with this, i officially admit that i have become SENILE, hu3.

PROJECT STATUS: WIRA TUNGGAL, DONE! Long Story...

salaam to all.

2012 has been a busy and challenging year, be it work, family, everything got tough. especially the second half of it. for the first time in my life, i got the chance to board an ambulance. i was not the one who's sick, but believe me, i almost got sick myself! really, really dizzy i was. worried for the sick, fun crazy drive with the nenong-nenong sound, but gladly everything went well. i'm telling you, once your family members turn over 70 and 80, you'll need a lot of patience and preparation. everything else became lower in my priority list.

as for me, my goodness, my memory is getting worse! i hope i won't become senile way too early. this is just the short story. let's skip the long story, shall we?

as i try to update this almost forgotten blog (senile me), the GUI is already so different i really did scratch my head, a bit. with this, i officially announce that i have finished Wira Tunggal project. episodes 1 - 85 were almost 100% re-scanned and re-edited. very few pages from the old free version were good enough to be included in this final version. so, yeah, no regrets with this one. 300 episodes of high quality and pure love for this comic series. it took me 15 months to do it. crazy? yeah, even my niece told me that. only for 20 sen per episode.

to anyone who makes a full order of the Wira Tunggal series, i will give them free gifts:

PROJECT STATUS: WIRA TUNGGAL, the regained will

SALAAM to all.

yesterday morning, 4.29 am, June 26 2012, i finally finished scanning episode 300 Sang Asura version of Wira Tunggal. I scanned the Wunan version first.

it's a relief, really.

i have completely lost my will to scan a few months back. too tired with the real life, i just can't scan at home.

so the scanning project got stucked at episode 140. the new will was found on May 18 2012.

then i found quite a colony built by termites all through my senjata misteri I and II, 20 episodes juara jalanan I, 13 or 14 books of mutiara naga, what else... other small titles, not legendary, but still wounded me greatly.

Aiiyaaa!!! i joined the termite club!!!

how many months has it been since i updated this blog? even the shoutbox is dead. well, i'll just let it die peacefully. i had mixed feelings about this blog, i couldn't even come back to peek at it. but it's okay now, i guess.

WIRA TUNGGAL PHASE 1: 121 - 300 FINISHED

PHASE 2: 86 - 120 BEGINS

PHASE 3: 1 - 85 ONLY NECESSARY RESCAN ON QUEUE

i've scanned 2 episodes this morning right after subuh prayers.
they were episodes 121 and 122.



i'm jumping the scans to start from episode 121 and not from episode 86.
well, i have my reasons.
once i have finished up to episode 300, i'll return to number 86.
still a long way to go, hu3

DEWATA RAYA PROJECT STATUS: SCANNING COMPLETED

SALAAM RAMADAN.

well, it's almost the end of ramadan, he he he...




I have just finished scanning episode 189 right after sahur this morning.
Yeah, I thought could finish it last month (July 2011), but my plans went south.
I had to take a number of breaks from scanning activity due to back pains.
More like waist pains. So terrible it's difficult for me to get up after long hours of sitting in front of my scanner, you know, scanning.
This is new to me, I had to take Panadol Extend for the first time in my life.
Maybe I am getting old T_T.

This is so far the biggest project in my list.
NOW ENTERING EDITING PHASE.

And, uh, just in case that I might not show up in this blog again in a few days,

PROJECT RESUUUUME: DEWATA RAYA and WIRA TUNGGAL

SALAAM everyone.
In order to keep my end of the bargain for a number of hardcore fans who love my scanning style (some even overpaid, for my future projects they said), and as I myself can't stand leaving any projects unfinished, I hereby announce that I will resume scanning DEWATA RAYA and WIRA TUNGGAL.

DEWATA RAYA project resumes at episode 51 of volume 11.



Meanwhile WIRA TUNGGAL project resumes at episode 86. Sorry, I forgot to copy the cover for episode 86 into my pen drive, so this is cover 85. My bad :P



Project status will be updated form time to time, when I have time.
Hopefully, I will manage to finish DEWATA RAYA by the end of next month, July 2011, and WIRA TUNGGAL by the end of September 2011.

Finally, it 's DONE! Capcom vs SNK is completed...

Finally it is finished.

However, I have to be clear that this series was actually much longer, but the Bahasa version was cut to 26 episodes only by the publisher, don't know why actually.

But the freaking long and bloody battle which ends at episode 26 was good.

By the way, after 7 years of wait, I have to accept that it was the end.

as for those who sent emails, i couldn't reply your orders because i got no confidence to process them under these circumstances, i practically don't have a pc for almost a month. that's why i had to live in exile until before today. however i'll start contacting all of you within this coming week. i can't reply today since i forgot an important file, left it at home.
i deeply apologize for all the wait that you guys are bearing. but i'll be clear, the processing time would be a bit longer than before. it's killing me every time my pc restarts when i'm burning a DVD!
luckily i always backup my scans in an external hard drive. at least i can burn them at my brother's house.

my pc got problem again.

day after tomoorow a little restart then i can already use it,
the next day again like hell.
as for today, sunday, 12 december 2010, i know don't yet since i haven't touched my pc.


i sent my pc to a pomen, after almost 3 weeks he said:
it's due to viruses, he cleaned the viruses and reformatted my hard drive. not related to hardware. paid RM 50.

i don't really buy that, because i always scan my drives especially the removable ones.
even though i don't have internet connection, i still update my antivirus by downloading the updates from cyber cafe, bring it home and update it from my pendrive.

after that service, my pc is usable without any problems for only 6 hours. i shut it down because it's midnight and i wanted to sleep.

the next morning after subuh prayers, i switched on the pc with a burning spirit, a desire to finish the editing process for wira2 keinderaan, but... damn... it restart restart restart restart again.

seems like i have to do it my self then. i contacted the pomen, asking for advice.
however, the advice doesn't seem helpful. that is when i became very upset because the pomen claimed that he didn't check the hardware at all.
in my opinion, it's gotta be hardware problems.

so i tried the cheapest possible solution first. for RM 5, i bought the heat sink compound. well, it has been 3 years, it looked dry to me. man... that didn't work out LOL!!!
but the next morning, eh... can use ma!
i use it form 8 am to 11 pm.
but the next day, aiiyyyaaa, again it plays with me.

so i look into my wallet. hmmm, still got something. not enough for motherboard, cpu and ram, but enough for a hard disk.
so... brave die not die (berani mati x mati)!

i bought a new internal hard drive:
western digital 500 GB SATA for RM 113 plus sata cable RM 5
to replace my 5-year-old seagate 40 GB IDE hard drive (i don't remember how many times has been reformatted, so it's a suspect).

and uh, it almost work! got some restarts, but then i can use it, everyday.
in one week i finished the editing process for wira2 keinderaan.
but it starts to happen again starting from last thursday, 9 december 2010.

so for the next target, i will bet on the motherboard. done a bit research, just for the cheapest,
asrock G41C-VS, RM 145.
why? i don't play heavy games, just basic is enough, and my old DDR2 667 mhz ram can still fit in for testing. i'll get it at the end of this month, probably.

bit by bit, it will be like a new pc altogether, ha3. it's better than giving out money freely to pomens who can't really be trusted anymore.

hu3, do pray for my success with repairing my pc, because i really really want to finish other projects.
